Title:A Computational Experiment on the Emergence of Food Scares
Abstract:
This paper examines how social media have modified the process through which information spreads within a population. Building on agent‐based modeling and a behavioral survey on information diffusion following a food scare in China (n = 586), we study diffusion networks in simulated populations with and without access to social media. While the use of social media does not increase the likelihood of informational cascades, our results suggest a significant change in the topology of diffusion networks. Social media facilitate the formation of feedback loops through the emergence of multiple links, which can potentially lead to instances of market and social panic.

Title:Research on the Systems and Mechanisms Innovation of the Coordinated Development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Based on System Theory
Abstract:
Since Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration strategy has been upgraded to the national strategy, the integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei has made significant progress in several key areas. However, there is still a gap in coordinated development. Considering the measurement of the coordination between industrial and population of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development index is constructed in this paper. The results show that the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is still in a downward trend. The main reason for this result lies in the institutional and institutional barriers to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development system, which affect the overall function of the complex system of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration. Based on this, the problems should be examined and dealt with from the perspective of system thoery and method. The unified social system engineering management system with two command lines of chief designer and chief commander should be established. Furthermore, in terms of management mechanisms, the coordination and cooperation mechanism of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei should be perfected, and new financial and tax coordination mechanism should be explored and established.

Title:Society changes with social computing
Abstract:
The influence of informal institutions and patterns on the everyday life of society is decisive in shaping the social life of society. To all this we can add the formation of justice, accountability or bias, for example.
If we consider sociology, then these problems are considered as the status quo, ie. data that we have to put up with. But the desire for justice, or justice that is more understandable to all participants, highlights the need to work no longer in small groups, but in groups where the manual establishment of justice will take too much time, ie. Communicating what is good and what is bad for each group member, in manual modes or in human learning modes becomes too costly. At this point, in some societies comes the realization that it is necessary to find modalities that can be transferred to algorithms embedded in the computer to be able to solve emerging social problems. Forgetting the social basis of our existence, it should be noted that this approach has the advantage of making all social problems more visible in the eyes of the public, and therefore the solutions found will also be common. As the author of this report, I am opposed to such an approach, but in terms of cost optimization, these approaches will be developed and applied. It is important that society is ready for such a transition. The testing of such approaches manifested itself during the pandemic, but how will society behave without an external threat. This is to be dismantled.
